Our First Aid Courses

We offer all our programmes as ‘in-house’ courses at your premises or we can arrange a suitable off-site venue (although this second option would involve additional costs).

Although the core content has to match the HSE’s and first aid industry standards, we are also able to  tailor these courses to meet the needs of your particular work environment or organisation.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Length: 1 day
One day introductory level course designed for professionals looking after children; including teachers, childminders, au pairs and play-group leaders. Scenarios are used to consolidate learning and practice real life possibilities. This Emergency Paediatric First Aid course meets Ofsted requirements for registered childminders and the requirements for nannies under the DfES Approved Carers Scheme. It can also be used as evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.

Basic Life Support and Safe Use Of An Automated External Defibrillator

Length: Full or half day
Advised for first-aiders wishing to gain further knowledge of use of AEDs in the workplace. Give cardiac arrest victims the best possible chance of survival. Learn how to use the growing number of AEDs available in public places.

First Aid at Work Re-qualification

Length: 2 Days
A refresher course for those that have attended an First Aid At Work course within the last 3 years.

Paediatric First Aid

Length: 2 Days

First Aid at Work

Length: 3 Days
This advanced level course is ideal for more hazardous environments (e.g. warehousing, transport, vehicle movements, working at heights, chemical plants, construction, manufacturing, remote working) or where your needs assessment identifies a requirement to provide additional training, covering a broad syllabus including the recognition and treatment of a wider range of conditions.

Emergency First Aid at Work

Length: 1 Day
A course suitable for lower-risk work environments, such as offices and shops and/or organisations with fewer than 100 employees.  Key components of the Emergency Life Support and Basic Life Skills courses tailored to meet your individual and business needs.  Child first aid can be included if required and we will always tailor the course to the requirements of your business.
